First Resources Employment Agency is a licensed domestic agency in New York established by Manny Posadas in 1987. One of the first, if not the first, in the placement of Pinoys as nannies, housekeepers, companions, caregivers, cooks, baby nurses, and other household help to the rich and famous, to the high-end clientele in the NY Tri-State area. It’s had its share too of celebrity clients such as famous movie actors and actresses, and important names in politics, literature, fashion, entertainment, and television. First Resources Agency has operated over the years through word of mouth, and having no advertisements, and has succeeded thru sheer reputation and excellence in service.

About the Owner
Manuel "Manny" Posadas, or “Nonoy” in the Phils, is a product of Jesuit education, having studied in Ateneo de Manila University from prep to college, and finished with a Bachelor of Arts degree Major in Economics. After graduation, he worked as an Analyst in the Credit and Investment Research Department at Far East Bank and Trust Company, Intramuros, Manila. Not the banker, he moved to Philippine government service and worked for the Philippine Overseas Construction Board (POCB) Office of the President of the Philippines as PMS (Presidential Management Staff) in Malacañang, Manila). After 2 years with POCB, he was assigned to work from 1980-1985 as a Construction Attaché (Foreign Service Officer III) in Philippine Embassy Commercial Section, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. After getting married in 1985 and leaving Phil gov’t service in 1986, Manny moved to New York and he called it his "new home". In 1987, he established the first Pinoy Agency called First Resources Employment Agency, which is still in active operation up to this time in 2020(now 33 years). In 1990-1997, as part of the Philippine government program to promote the Balikbayan shopping, Duty Free Philippines appointed Manny as their East Coast Balikbayan Representative to promote the Balikbayan Shopping Program to the Pinoy community associations in the NY-TriState area. And as a service to his alma mater, Manny served as President of the Ateneo Alumni Association, NY. In 2014, he established Manny's Online AirCargo, the first Pinoy online air cargo company. As a family man that he is, Manny and his wife, Janet's 3 kids, are also Jesuit educated, all 3 having graduated from Boston College in Massachusetts. Manny’s 2 companies have contributed in helping our kababayans find work in NY and also helped them with sending the fruits-of-labor to their home country in the Philippines thru the online aircargo company.
